A: If your current hosting provider can no longer meet the needs of your site, or when you face continual downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client service team to reply back to you, it may be a smart idea to swap your provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your current provider to your future provider. At Regyster.com, we realize that this can often be difficult & time–consuming. That’s the reason why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly competent technical staff representatives will move your web site content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have broad experience migrating web sites and can handle anything – from a normal WordPress–powered blog or Joomla^™–powered web site, to a highly elaborate, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact time frame, because there are a lot of variables, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to move your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: Yeah. We’ll require the name of the web site that you’d like us to move. We will also require a way to access your old hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share practically the same info you have given to your old web hosting provider. We’ve also got a very rigorous Privacy Policy, which specifies how delicate data is dealt with.

A: Your web site will continue to work just like it did before with your previous hosting provider. As soon as we are through with the migration, your web site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we will alert you to preview it. If everything is working properly, all you will have to do is edit the NS resource records pertaining to your domain name. Your web site will be migrated over to us without any downtime.

A: While we move your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not contact them in any way.

A: Yup. We support all regular Linux–based hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven hosting platforms, since we do not offer Windows web hosting services ourselves.In addition, we do not support proprietary web site building and management tools such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
